JCCC advised of 1 vehicle into the guiderails, 1 minor injury. R29 arrived and confirmed dispatched. R29 provided lighting until the wrecker arrived, box then cleared.

15:38 - Co 2, 1, 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp. intersection of Cedar Spring Rd and Industrial Park Rd, for a 2 vehicle MVA with entrapment. Box 2-01. Rescue 29 marked out with 5, Chief 21-2 (K. Boreman) marked on scene confirming entrapment, requesting an additional BLS and ALS to the scene. R29 arrived, crew stabalized and de-energized the vehicles, then deployed tools for extrication. E12-1 arrived and crew pulled a safety line while extrication was being done. 12/27/09 - 2 House starts early
01:44 - Co 2, 1, 20 dispatched to Walker Twp. Rt 322 W/B, just west of the Port Royal exit, for a reported vehicle fire. Box 2-08. Engine 22 marked out with 6, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. E22 arrived to find a minivan, nothing showing. After investigation, seemed to be an issue with the one wheel seal, no fire, box was placed available.

JCCC advised of 1 vehicle into a pole, overturned, wires down. Chief 71-2 o/s with pt out of the vehicle, placing E12-1 and R29 available.

12:28 - Co 2, 1, 8, 5, 4, 20 dispatched 1st alarm to Fermanagh Twp - Family House Restaurant - for an inside odor investigation. Box 2-01. Truck 27 marked out with 6, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised this called in by EMS, they were o/s with an odor of something hot in the kitchen area. T27 arrived with normal conditions and set up on Side C of the building. E22 had the hydrant at the C/D corner, all other units staged in the front lot. T27 had a crew to the roof and checked out the HVAC units, E22 crew paired with the remaining Truck crew members and did a sweep of the building with the TIC. Nothing out of the ordinary was found, box cleared.

12/26/09 - Engine handles tree down
13:57 - Co 2 Engine requested by Chief 21 (Leiter), non emergency response to a tree down blocking the roadway. Fermanagh Twp on Butchershop Rd near Ebright's Orchard. Box 2-01. Engine 22 marked out with 4, Capt 21-2 (Groninger) in the seat. E22 arrived and removed the tree, box cleared.

12/23/09 - Vehicle fire starts off the day
06:30 - Co 2, 1, 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp. Rt 322 W/B, just west of Arch Rock Exit, for a reported vehicle fire. Box 2-07. Engine 22 marked out with 5, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised of a Fed Ex tractor trailer with its brakes on fire. Before arriving o/s, PSP called and had the FD cancel.

19:53 - Rescue 29 was dispatched to Fayette/Fermanagh Twp line, 27577 Rt 35 N, to assist EMS with a fall victim. R29 marked out with 4, Capt 21-2 (Groninger) in the seat. JCCC advised of a male pt that had fallen down 11 steps. R29 arrived and assisted EMS with extrication, box cleared.

12/19/09 - Snow sends The 2 House to US Hwy 322
06:11 - Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to US Hwy 322 at the east bound Rt 35 overpass for a single vehicle into the guilderail partially on the roadway. Rescue 29 marked out with 6, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. Safety 11 arrived on scene reporting vehicle was driveable and drove away, no Fire and EMS needed. Chief 21 cleared the box.

12:29 - Co 3, 2, 20 dispatched to Mifflin Boro, 106 Juniata Street, for a reported chimney fire. Box 3-01. Truck 27 marked out with 6, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. Engine 22 marked out behind the truck with 6, Chief 21-2 (K. Boreman) in the seat. T27 took Side A, crew split - 2 went to the roof, 2 interior. E22 had the hydrant at Juniata & Parker, 4 of the 6 crew proceeded to the scene to assist Truck. Crews found a blocked chimney with active fire contained to the chimney, smoke conditions interior. Crews vented the building, chimney cleared, box avail.

JCCC advised of a toddler trapped between the sliding board and the steps of a play set. R29 arrived and had the child extricated, advised EMS to proceed in non-emergency to check the child, no visible injuries. Box cleared.

14:22 - Co 2 dispatched to assist EMS 20, Landing Zone Assignment, Fermanagh Twp at the Mifflintown Airport. E22 marked out with 4, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. EMS 20 was on the scene of a fall victim. Life Lion 1 had a 20 min ETA. E22 crew assisted with pt package and loading. Box cleared.

12/17/09 - Rescue initially called, cancelled
14:58 - Co 1, 2 dispatched to Turbett Twp. Rt 75 on the Old Port Bridge, for a reported MVA. Box 1-01. Before responding, Rescue 29 was placed avail by Chief 11-2 (Yoder) on scene. At 15:04 Engine 22 was dispatched in place of Engine 12-1. E22 was then placed avail as E12-1 did respond.
12/14/09 - Milford Twp MVA
19:31 - Co 3, 2, EMS 1 dispatched to Milford Twp. Rt 333 near Coppenhaver's Corner, for a reported MVA. Box 3-02. Rescue 29 marked out with 5, Capt 21-2 (Groninger) in the seat. JCCC advised of 1 vehicle into a pole, wires down. Capt 21-3 (J. Boreman) o/s confirming dispatch, reports no one in the vehicle. Engine 32-1 arrived and Chief 31-3 (Peck) placed R29 avail.

12/13/09 - Icy roads keep the 2 House busy
09:01 - Co 2, EMS 1 dispatched to the area of 6120 William Penn Highway, in Mexico, for a reported MVA. Box 2-02. Rescue 29 marked out with 6, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised of 1 vehicle over the embankment, pole and wires down. Chief 21-2 (K. Boreman) arrived o/s to confirm dispatch, shortly later to report the operator had returned to the scene in another vehicle, pulled out the wrecked truck, then fled the scene. PSP arrived as the operator returned to the scene again, units cleared after PPL and PennDOT had the area secured.

E22 arrived to advise 1 Jeep on it's side, occupants out of the vehicle, R89 placed avail. Units o/s approx 30 mins

JCCC advised of 1 passenger car vs. tractor trailer, unknown injuries. Chief 21-2 (K. Boreman) arrived o/s, advised to be W/B at the Arch Rock overpass, 1 T/T vs pass car, occupant still in the car. R29 ordered to stabilize and de-energize the car, then assist EMS with extrication. E22 ordered to secure the T/T. E22 advised no damage, no hazards from the T/T, R29 completed their orders. 1 pt transported to Lewistown ER, box cleared.

12/12/09 - Milford Twp House Fire
13:53 - Co 3, 2, 1, 4, 5, EMS dispatched to Milford Twp. 10956 Licking Creek Road, 1st alarm for structure fire. Box 3-02. Capt 21-3 (J. Boreman) on scene with chimney fire, now in the walls. Fire on 1st & 2nd divisions. Engine 22 marked out with 6, FF Stottle in the seat. E22 arrived 1st to Side B, crews pulled 2 hand lines for interior operations. Truck 27 next on scene had Side A, set up PPV and laddered the structure. Engine 32-1 arrived and Chief 31 (Oberlin) assumed command. E12-1 arrived and advanced a 3rd line as crews got a good knock on the fire. Extensive damage was done around the chimney on Divisions 1 & 2, and a good overhaul was preformed. Units o/s approx 1 1/2 hours. 1 Mifflin FF was transported to the ER for minor lower extremity injury.

12/10/09 - Apartment fire in the Boro
14:42 - Co 2, 1, 4, 5, 8, 20 dispatched to Mifflintown Boro, 31 Cedar Street, 1st alarm for structure fire. Box 2-01. Chief 21-2 (K. Boreman) marked on scene right away, advised of a 2 story apartment building, heavy smoke from Side A, 1st floor. E22 marked out with 5, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. E22 laid 5" from the hydrant at Cedar & Burkholder, crew stretched hand line to fire apartment. 2nd alarm engines and Truck 11 were then summoned. E12-1 pulled in to assist E22, Truck 27 had the A/B corner and laddered the structure. All tankers staged at The Legion parking lot. Interior crews were met with heavy heat and smoke conditions, fire in the kitchen. Interior crews made quick work of the fire, then checked for extension. 1 female was taked the ER with smoke inhalation, the fire displaced 2 adults and 3 children that the Red Cross is helping. Units o/s approx 1 1/2 hrs.

23:32 - Co 2, 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, the 700 block of Washington Avenue, for a reported MVA. Box 2-01. Chief 21 (Leiter) marked on the air, JCCC advised of a single vehicle into some trees, 1 minor injury. Chief 21 arrived o/s and confirmed dispatch, holding the box to R29 non emergency and EMS. R29 crew stabilized the vehicle and de-engerized. Units o/s approx 15mins.

12/07/09 - Car vs Propane Tank
22:27 - Co 3, 2, 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Mifflin Boro, in the area of Juniata Lumber, for a reported MVA. Box 3-01. Rescue 29 marked out with 4, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised of 1 vehicle into a propane tank, tank is to be leaking, unknown injuries. Chief 31-3 (Peck) o/s with occupant out of the vehicle, severe propane leak. Chief 21 advised E22 was going to have the hydrant at Manbeck's Construction, R29 was going to have personnel in full PPE/SCBA. Chief 31-3 was trying to place all units available, but with the reports given, units proceeded in. R29 crew proceeded in and shut off all valves and stopped the leak. Tanks were not ruptured, the copper lines were ripped off. Chief 31-3 then placed all units, except E32-1 available.

12/05/09 - Engine runs to Fayette Twp
22:20 - Co 4, 2 dispatched to Fayette Twp. 314 Juniata Forest Drive, for a reported AFA. Box 4-04. Engine 22 marked out with 5, Capt 21-2 (Groninger) in the seat. JCCC advised that PSP received the fire alarm and was unable to reach a keyholder. E22 staged o/s for approx 20 mins until released.

12/02/09 - Vehicle fire starts the day
02:50 - Engine 22 dispatched, mutual aid to Co 8, Walker Twp. Rt 322 W/B- approx 2 miles west of T-town exit, for a reported vehicle fire. Box 8-06. At the 3 min mark, E82 responded, Chief 81-3 (Shearer) held the box to E82, remainder placed avail.
14:58 - Co 2, 1, 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp. in the area of the old Yetter's Gas off Cedar Street, for a smoke investigation. Box 2-01. Chief 21-2 (K. Boreman) signed on in the area, JCCC advised the caller was from J&B Furniture, they had someone walk in with the concern. Chief 21-2 o/s with a driver filling his propane tanker, holding all units in quarters. C21-2 confirmed it was from the tanker filling, no emergency. JCCC advised of a single vehicle into the embankment, poss no injuries. EMS arrived and advised to be at the top of 100mph Hill. R29 arrived, stabilized the vehicle while EMS checked the pt. Occupant was not injured. EMS remained o/s for PSP, R29 avail.

19:40 - JCCC dispatched Co 2 - Engine due - to extinguish a controlled burn. Fermanagh Twp. on South 7th Street near the grade school. Engine 22 marked out with 3, Capt 21-2 (Groninger) in the seat. E22 arrived to find a pile of natural cover smoldering. E22 crew deployed booster line and made quick work of the fire. Box cleared.
