01:26 - Co 7, Co 1, Co 2, EMS 22, Medic 29 called to Rt 75 Tuscarora Twp -Village of East Waterford- in front of Long's Store, for an MVA w/entrapment. R29 marked out with 7, Chief 21-2 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised the caller stated 1 vehicle roll over, 1 pt partially ejected & trapped. Upon EMS arrival and assessment, they advised 1 pt out of the vehicle, (-) entrapment. Chief 71 placed Co 1 & Co 2 avail

11/28/09
19:02 - Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to South Front Street, behind Willa's Gym for a vehicle fire. E22 marked out w/6 and Chief 21 (Zimmerman) in the seat, R29 marked out w/5. Mifflin PD o/s reporting 2 vehicles fully involved, endangering the building. Chief 21 then requested the 1st Alarm Box filled. Co 1 for an Engine & Tanker, and Tankers from Co 4 & Co 8 added. E22 AOS to find both vehicles fully involved, Side C exposure. E22 deployed 2 - 200' 1 3/4" land lines and began suppression. Building was checked for extension. Chief 21 held the box to Co 2, Co 1 & EMS - Co 4 & Co 8 placed avail. Vehicles were extinguished and (-) extension into the exposure building. Control marked, PSP also notified.

08:42 - Co 2, Co 1 called to Walker Twp. Rt 75 & William Penn Hwy behind the 1st National Bank for a reported MVA. Caller reported 1 vehicle off the roadway, unknown conditions. Box 2-02. R29 marked out with 3, Chief 21-2 (Leiter) in the seat. FP1-1 arrived o/s and advised 1 vehicle off the roadway into a tree. EMS transported 1 pt BLS to Lewistown. Units o/s approx 30 mins

09:38 - Co 2, Co 1, EMS 20, Medic 29 summoned to Fermanagh Twp -Townridge Development- Old Butchershop Rd & Oak Lane, single vehicle into a tree - unknown injuries. R29 marked out with 5 personnel, Chief 21-2 (Leiter) in the seat. Medic 29 arrived o/s advising no injuries, units to reduce response. R29 arrived placing Co 1 engine avail. Units cleared in 10 mins

11/22/08
04:13 - Co 3, Co 2, EMS 1 called to Milford Twp. Rt 35 at the Iron Horse Bed & Breakfast, for an MVA - vehicle overturned - Box 3-02. R29 responded w/7 and Chief 21-3 (K. Boreman) in the seat, advised by JCCC 1 vehicle off the roadway, overturned, and did hit the structure. R29 arrived to find an SUV on it's side, severe damage - with heavy entrapment. The SUV left the road, struck 2 trees, then the Bed & Breakfast, coming to rest at the A/B corner of the structure. The roof was crushed down to almost nothing. Vehicle was stabilized with Rut Struts and cribbing, 2 cutters, 1 spreader, 1 combo-tool and sawz-all were deployed - extrication started. (E22 also had a 100' 1 3/4" handline off) Entire roof was removed and steering wheel briefly displaced. Pt was accessed by Fire/EMS - pt not viable - Coroner notified

R29 on scene at 04:29 - Extrication marked at 04:35 - Units avail at 06:30

The Bed & Breakfast suffered moderate structural damage - the basement and 1st floor windows were blown out, and the impact on the A/B corner destroyed the interior wall on Division 2. Property owner was o/s handling that. (Pictures: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8)

11/18/08
13:20 - Co 3, Co 2 (Engine & Rescue) EMS 20 called to 3 Mowery Street in Mifflin Boro - Mifflin Distributing - for an AFA. Capt 21-3 (J. Boreman) o/s with normal conditions, investigating. JCCC received a 2nd call from the business reporting a false call, wishing all apparatus to cancel - Engine 22 the only thing responding, placed available.

20:19 - Co 4, Co 8, Co 2 (in place of E62), EMS 4, 1st Alarm Assignment for structure fire. Village of McAlisterville, School Street - beside the old firehouse - smoke in a structure. Box 4-01. E22 responded with 5 personnel, Chief 21 (Zimmerman) in the seat. T43 o/s confirming smoke throughout the structure. Chief 41-3 had E22 stage behind the bank at the hydrant, units o/s investigating. E22 and crew staged at the hydrant, placed avail by Chief 41-3 approx 20 mins later.

11/17/08
12:07 - Engine 22 called to the airport for landing zone operations. EMS 20 & Medic 29 were on the scene of a fall victim from a front-end loader, multiple traumatic injuries with LOC. Box cleared at 12:43

11/16/08
21:40 - Co's 2, 1, 6, 8, 4, EMS 1 called to Walker Twp (Village of Mexico) 7 Front Street, for a structure fire. Box 2-02. 2nd call from the scene advised working fire. E22 arrived to find a SFD, heavy fire from the C/D corner, Division 2. E22 crew deployed 2 initial lines and went on attack. Truck 27 had the A/D corner and went in service. Interior crews were met with heavy fire conditions on Division 1, 2, and 3 (attic) - 2 addition lines were pulled. E12-2 had fill site operations at the Walker Access, and all other manpower was used at the scene. Units were o/s approx 2 1/2 hours, no injuries reported. Command- Chief 21-2 (Leiter)
Units - Engines 22, 12-1, 12-2, 82-1, MC 4-1, Tankers 13, 63-1, 83, PC 3, Truck 27, Rescue 29, Utility 48, MICU 15-1 - PC Tanker 3 then transfered to Station 1, MC Engine 13-1 & Tanker 15-1 transfered into Station 2


11/15/08 - Co 2 starts the day on US 22/322
13:44 - Co 2, EMS 1 called to US 22/322 east of the Port Royal for a single vehicle accident. Box 2-08 JCCC reported 1 vehicle in the median, unknown injuries. Capt 21 (Adair) arrived on scene and reported no injury, vehicle slide off the road and was stuck - the vehicle was removed and able to drive away - box cleared.

11/14/08 - Rescue & Engine take turn running 3 calls today
12:36 - Co 1, Co 2 Rescue, EMS 1dispatched to Turbett Twp - Rt 74 on the mountain on the 'sharp turn' for a reported MVA. Reported 1 vehicle into the guiderails - numerous calls - 1 reporting unknown injuries, 1 reporting pt laying on the ground, and the driver called in with no injuries. R29 responded with 5 - with the driver's info reported, Chief 11 cancelled R29

16:17 - Engine 22 dispatched in place of Engine 82-1 - to assist Rescue 89 - US 22/322 approx .25 miles east of Treens, reported MVA single vehicle off the roadway in the median, unknown injuries. Box 8-06. Huntington Ambulance 503 in the area - on scene - checking conditions. H503 advised 1 pt minor/no injuries. R89 arrived and placed E22 avail. EMS reported pt refusal, units cleared shortly after

18:02 - Co 2 dispatched to a reported MVA, Fermanagh Twp Rt 35 north of Jericho Rd. Reported poss. 2 vehicles, unknown injuries. Medic 29 came across the accident (en route to an MVA in Monroe Twp) and reported minor injuries/poss refusals. Medic 1 can go in service and 1 BLS from 20 is sufficient. R29 arrived and reported 3 vehicles, 1 partially on the roadway, with fluids and debris down. Chief 21-2 (Leiter) was in command.

11/12/08 - Engine 22 rolls out with 6
17:12 - Co 4, Co 2 Engine, EMS 4, EMS 20, Medic 1 dispatched to Fayette Twp. Rt 35 north of Oakland Mills in the "S" turns for an MVA 2 vehicles, unknown injuries. Amb 45 o/s with 1 vehicle on the roadway, 2nd vehicle down the road a piece - 2 pts, 1 refusal. E22 was on scene approx 10-15 mins, then released by Chief 41-3. Remainder of the units cleared the box within 45 mins

11/06/08 - Rescue 29 racks up 3 early calls today.
09:19 -Co 1, Co 2 Rescue, EMS 1 called to Walker Twp, intersection of Rt 75 & Chicken Plant Rd for an MVC with reported 1 male entrapped. MICU 15-1 o/s confirming confinement and 4 patients, adding 2nd BLS from Co 1 and 1 BLS from EMS 20. Air medical notified for availability. Pt was extricated and Rescue 29 was released from the scene to handle Landing Zone Ops

09:40 - Rescue 29 responded to the Mifflintown Airport for LZ Ops. Life Flight 2 with a 12 min ETA

09:56 - Co 2, Co 1 Engine, EMS 20 called to Fermanagh Twp, Old 22 & Cuba Mills Rd for an MVC. Reported 2 vehicles off the roadway, 1 vehicle to be on the embankment. Rescue 29 responded from the LZ, AOS to find 2 vehicles off the roadway, no injuries. Units o/s approx 45 mins

11/02/08 - Co 2 starts off November 2nd early and often!!
-Engine 22 dispatched to Fayette Twp, Oakland Road, for an MVC, pole and wires down, unknown injuries. Box 4-04. Oakland Rd, between Rt 35 and the Shoe Shop. One vehicle, pole down across the roadway. Two EMT's on scene advising Amb 45 to respond, use caution in the area wires down across the roadway. Chief 21 on scene. Personnel on scene advising no one around the vehicle. Units switching to Fire 2.

-Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Arch Rock Rd and Hower Gap Rd for an MVC. Box 2-04. E22 responded from the Oakland Rd call, Capt 21-2 (Geedy) o/s with 1 vehicle off the roadway, 1 pt at the scene. Co2 arrived and awaited for PSP. 1 pt was transported to LH ER with PSP on board. Geedy's towing removed the car, box cleared

11/01/08 - Engine 22 pulling multiple lines today!!
-Co 2, 1, 4, 6, EMS 20 dispatched to 290 Britcher Drive for possible structure fire.Caller stated they were buring the tongue off the trailer, now the home is full of smoke, they are unsure if the house is on fire or not. Chief 21 holding all units on the hardtop. Company 4 and 6 placed available. E22 pulled 1 1 3/4" line and set up PPV - the home was charged with smoke. Homeowner was torch cutting the tongue off and ignited some insulation (along with some natural cover) under the home. After some overhaul, fire was contained (-) extension. Units o/s approx 45 mins

-Co 2, Co 1 (Tanker) EMS 1 dispatched to US 322 E/B for working vehicle fire. Multiple calls reporting working fire. Chief 21 aos to confirm dispatch. E22 pulled 2 1 3/4" lines, T13 supplied E22, E22 crews knocked fire, box cleared a short time later.
