10/31/08
-Rescue 29 dispatched to US Hwy 322 E/B 1 Mile west of Thompsontown Exit. Reported two vehicles, rolled over, dual ejections, unknown entrapment. Reported 2 vehicles, both overturned, with injuries. 2nd call stated 2 patients ejected, unknown on other injuries. Both vehicles against the bank. 2nd rescue and medic requested. Air medical enroute to company 8 EMS shed. Both patients flown to Hershey Medical Center.

10/29/08
-Company 2, Company 1 (Engine), and EMS/Medic 1 dispatched to Old Rt 22 near WJUN for an MVC. Reported 2 vehicles, unknown injuries. EMS o/s reporting 2 vehicles off the roadway, everyone out. Engine 22 clearing box within 10 minutes.

-Co 2, 1, EMS 20 dispatched to Mifflintown Borough, Brown Funeral Home for a chimney fire. Passerby reported heavy black smoke from the chimney. E22 arrived with normal conditions/no smoke. E22 crew checked the building - occupants of the building knew nothing of a fire and was under normal ops. Absolutely nothing found, box cleared.

-Co 1, Co 2 (Rescue), EMS 1 dispatched to Rt 75 at B&T Trucking for an MVC. Reported 2 vehicles, unknown injuries. EMS o/s with 2 vehicles off the roadway, no injuries. Chief 11 placed Rescue 29 available.

10/28/08
-Engine 22 dispatched at 1425 hours, mutual aid to Mifflin County, Hawstone Road for a structure fire. Units on scene of a working structure fire.

-Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched at 1744 hours to Fermanagh Twp, Cuba Mills Rd for tree across the roadway. Reported tree blocking the entire roadway. Units on scene, removed tree and cleared the box.

-Engine 22 dispatched to 717 Ebineiser Church Road, assisting Co 1, Port Royal, with possible electrical fire, smoke in a structure. Reported trees on power lines, smoke coming from electrical sockets near their computer, lights are flickering. Chief 1 cleared the box shortly after.

10/26/08
-Rescue 29 dispatched, assisting Co 1, Port Royal, for an MVC reported with entrapment. Reported MVC at Old Port Mill - vehicle down over the embankment with entrapment. Caller stated they saw an occupant in the driver seat. Second call back reporting no occupants in the vehicle. Firefighter on scene reporting vehicle has been there for a while. Chief 11 reduced Rescue 29's rate. Canceled en route. Box cleared by Chief 11.

10/24/08
-Co 2, Co 1 (engine), EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Walker Twp, Ocker Rd for an MVC. Reported two vehicles unknown injuries. 2 vehicles at the intersection of Ocker Rd & Nelson Rd. T-bone collision, 1 vehicle on the roadway - debris down. Both vehicles were totaled, pt refusals throughout. Both vehicles de-engerized, roadway cleaned, box cleared.

10/23/08
-Co 2 dispatched to assist Co 8, Thompsontown, with a fuel spill that started leaking from Mifflintown exit. A tractor trailer hit a dear in Strodes Mills, Mifflin County, ruptured the saddle tank and leaking the entire way down US Hwy 322 until it was flagged down one mile west of Thompsontown. While it stopped it lost approximately 80 gallons of fuel. Co 8 and 2 personnel dammed the area to contain the spill. PSP, PennDOT, and Juniata County EMA were on scene.

-Co 2, Co 1 (engine), EMS 1 dispatched to Walker Twp, Miller Rd, for an MVC, reported overturned. PSP on scene placing all Fire/EMS units available - no need for units.

-Co 2, EMS 1 dispatched to Walker Twp, Smith Rd and Industrial Park Rd Ext for odor of propane outside. Units investigated area with no odor found. Manager of the facility was notified, box cleared.

10/19/08
-Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Cuba Mills Rd area of Horningtown Rd. MVC reported roll over. Units arrived on scene to find two vehicles, off the roadway, one on it's passenger side. All occupants out of the vehicle, minor injuries. Vehicle that was on its side was rolled back over on its wheels and rollback came and towed it away. Box cleared shortly thereafter.

10/18/08
-Rescue 29 dispatched to Rt 35 North of Reeds Gap for an MVC with entrapment and ejection. Initial report was 1 vehicle rolled over, 2 pt ejected - 1 pt trapped under the vehicle. Chief 5-3 o/s confirming 2 pts ejected, 1 under the vehicle (not pinned), 1 pt trapped inside the truck. (looking for poss 2 other pts - which turned up negative) Rescue 2 stabilized the truck and took the driver's door off. Engine 7 had a charged handline in place. All 3 pts were flown - 2 from the scene, 1 from the ER helipad. Extrication at 0203 (15 minutes).

-Engine 22 dispatched to transfer to Mifflin County Station 15, Junction, to standby. While on standby, Engine 22 was dispatched to Lewistown Borough for a chimney fire. Units on scene for a short time and cleared. Later Engine 22 was requested to the scene of the blaze to assist

-Engine 22 dispatched to Fayette Twp, Rt 35 at Lost Creek Cycles, for an MVC, unknown injuries, assisting Co 4, Fayette Twp FD. Reported one vehicle, unknown injuries. Amb 45 arrived on scene with single vehicle into a ditch with a utility pole sheared off.

-Rescue 29 assists Co 1 on an MVC while out on Driver Training and then establishes an LZ for EMS for victim. Motorcycle vs car. Operator of motorcycle has major injuries. Life Flight 3 en route to LZ.

-Resuce 29 dispatched to Milford Twp, assisting Co 3, Mifflin, on an MVC. Canceled en route by Capt 31


10/03/08
-Co 2, EMS 1 dispatched to Old Rt 22 just west of the blinking light for an MVC, major injury reported. Units arrived on scene to find two vehicles, one in the roadway, one off the roadway, one utility pole sheared off. Operator of the vehicle on the roadway was pinned. Rescue 29's crew cribbed the vehicle and popped the passenger side door. Engine 22's crew deployed 1 - 1 3/4" handline. EMS and Rescue crew extricated Pt.
