13:44 - Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 1 dispatched to Walker Twp. Cedar Spring Rd, approx 2 miles from Industrial Park Rd, for an MVA w/ entrapment. Box 2-06. Rescue 29 marked out with 5, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised of 1 vehicle overturned into a pole, with entrapment. R29 arrived to find 1 SUV vs Tree, 1 female pinned. R29 crew cribbed the vehicle and started extrication - driver side door removal and roof flap - E22 pulled and charged 100' of 1 3/4" hand line. Pt extricated and transported ALS to Hershey Medical Center. Extrication time: 15 minutes

05:57 - Rescue 29 was dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Rt 322 at the boat launch, to assist EMS with a breathing problems call. Rescue 29 marked out with 3, Capt 21-2 (Groninger) in the seat. Amb 20-5-3 and Medic 29 were called for a pt that was across the river camping, experiencing breathing problems. EMS was boated across and brought the pt over. R29 crew assisted in loading pt. Box cleared.

16:02 - Rescue 29 was dispatched to assist Co 8 (R89 failed), Delaware Twp, Rt 322 east bound near the Pfoutz Valley Exit, for an MVA. Box 8-06. E82 arrived o/s, Chief 81-2 (Eaton) placed R29 avail before responding.

20:34 - Co 7, 5, 2, EMS 22, Medic 29 dispatched to Tuscarora Twp, in the area of 1327 McCoysville Road, for a reported MVA. Box 7-02. Rescue 29 marked out with 7, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised of 1 vehicle that drove off the roadway, possible ejection. 2nd call reports vehicle leaving the scene. Chief 51 (Palm) advised R29 to stage at Station 5, all others to the scene. Chief 71 (Murphy) encounted the vehicle on Smokey Hollow Rd, no injuries. R29 placed avail.

JCCC reported a male subject was unloading a tractor from a truck, when the tractor fell on top of him. Foreman 44 o/s placed R29 avaial,victim was Class 4 (DOA).

16:51 - Co 2, 1, EMS 20 dispatched to Rt 322 in the area of Arch Rock exit, for a reported mountain fire. Box 2-07. Engine 22 marked out with 4, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC received a call from 322, states fire on the mountain. 2nd call reports it to be off Minertown Rd. E22 arrived to report a controlled burn, Box placed avail.

08/23/09 - 1st alarm units sent into Milford Twp
15:56 - Co 3, 2, 1, 5, EMS 20 dispatched to Milford Twp, across from 5927 Rt 333 East, for a reported structure fire. Box 3-04. Truck 27 marked out with 6, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised of smoke in the basement, unkown origin. Chief 21-2 (K. Boreman) arrived o/s, reporting nothing showing from Side A, poss electrial fire. Chief 31-3 (Peck) held Co 3, 2, and EMS, remainder of the box avail. T27 crew entered the structure and checked the area with the TIC, no fire found. Box cleared.

As R29 was arriving, EMS requested them to divert to the airport for LZ Ops. R29 assisted with LZ, box cleared.

17:25 - Co 2, EMS 20, Mifflin Medic 12 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Rt 322 east bound in the Narrows, just west of Arch Rock, for a 1 vehicle MVA. Box 2-07. Rescue 29 marked out with 6, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised of 1 vehicle into the jersey barriers, with injury. R29 arrived to confirm dispatch, 1 operator still in the vehicle. R29 crew stabilized and de-energized the vehicle, then assisted EMS with extrication. Pt was transported ALS to Lewistown. Units o/s approx 45 mins

PSP was looking for 2 females that entered the woods after fighting with 2 males in the area. Units searched for over an hour, nothing found.
