13:56 - Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Mifflintown Boro, intersection of Cross St & Cedar St, for a 2 vehicle MVA. Box 2-01. Rescue 29 marked out with 3, Chief 21-2 (K. Boreman) o/s reporting 2 vehicles, 1 partially on the roadway, 1 minor injury, holding R29 and EMS. Roadway cleared and box plaecd available shortly after.

07/27/09 - Overturned cement truck
12:36 - Co 3, 2, EMS 1 dispatched to Milford Twp, in the area of 9287 Rt 333 (just east of Copenhaver's Corner) for an MVA. Box 3-02. Rescue 29 marked out with 5, Capt 31 (Lyter) to the scene. JCCC advised of a loaded cement truck overturned. Capt 31 arrived and cancelled R29, pt out of the vehicle.

07/25/09 - Car vs Motorcycle
19:36 - Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Rt 35 & Industrial Park Road, for a reported MVA. Box 2-01. Rescue 29 marked out with 5, Capt 21 (Adair) in the seat. JCCC advised of a passenger car vs. motorcycle, with injuries. R29 arrived to confirm dispatch. Traffic control was established, R29 crew assisted EMS with packaging and extrication of patients. 2 injuries transported to Lewistown Hospital, roadway cleared, box available.

07/24/09 - Vehicle fire on the highway
14:17 - Co 2, 8, 20 dispatched to Walker Twp, Rt 322 west bound, approx 1 mile east of Port Royal Exit. Box 2-08. Engine 22 marked out with 6, Chief 21-3 (K. Boreman) in the seat. JCCC advised of a pick-up truck to be on fire. E22 arrived to find a pick-up, full involved, fire spreading to the natural cover on the embankment. E22 crew pulled 2 - 1 3/4" hand lines for the vehicle and an additional 100' line to handle the advancing brush fire. R29 arrived and crew assisted, T83 arrived and tied into E22. 09:37 - Co 2, 1, 4, 5, 8, 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, 498 Jefferson Street, Juniata County Library, for a reported AFA. Box 2-01. Capt 21-3 (J. Boreman) o/s with normal conditions Side A. Alarm company o/s working, false trip. Box cleared

16:57 - Co 2, 1, 5, 8, 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, intersection of Old 22 & Arch Rock Rd, for a reported house fire. Box 2-01. Engine 22 marked out with 5, Chief 21 (Zimmerman) in the seat. JCCC advised the caller reported heavy smoke from the stone house at the intersection. Capt 21-2 (Geedy) arrived with normal conditions from Side A. Chief 21 advised all units to stage at Cameo Kitchens. 2nd call reported heavy smoke from Old 22 west of Cameo. Truck 27 responded in to report controlled burn. Chief 21 cleared the box.

23:30 - Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Cedar Spring Rd at the 322 overpass, for a reported T/T accident. Box 2-01. Rescue 29 marked out with 8, Chief 21 (Zimmerman) in the seat. JCCC advised of a T/T that drove off Rt 322 E/B and landed on Cedar Spring Rd. R29 arrived to confirm dispatch, T/T off the highway onto Cedar Spring Rd, roadway completely blocked. 1 male occupant was out lying on the roadway, severe injuries. Medic 29 requested air medical to the airport. R29 crew set up lighting and contained all fluid spills. T/T was hauling empty mason jars. 3 heavy duty wreckers were called in to remove the truck. EMS was o/s with an elderly pt who fell behind the door, crew was unable to access the room. R29 assisted, pt was accessed, packaged, and transported to the ER. R29 avail.

JCCC advised of smoke from the engine compartment. Chief 21 (Zimmerman) o/s with nothing showing, holding E22. Box cleared soon after.

10:04 - Co 3, 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Milford Twp, area of 10873 Licking Creek Rd, for a reported MVA. Box 3-01. Rescue 29 marked out with 5, Chief 21-3 (K. Boreman) on board. JCCC advised of 2 vehicles, poss 1 injury. R29 arrived, advised just before Stump Development, 2 vehicle T-bone collision, all occupants out - 1 minor injury. R29 de-energized and cleaned the roadway, 1 pt refusal.

07/14/09 - Sticky spill on the Mifflintown off-ramp
12:26 - Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Rt 35 at the 322 W/B off ramp, for a reported unknown type spill. Box 2-01. Rescue 29 marked out with 4, Chief 21-3 (K. Boreman) in the seat. JCCC advised of a pail that fell off a T/T, spilling an unknown substance on the off ramp. Units arrived to find a pail of roofing cement had fallen off and broke open, causing a very sticky off ramp. R29 crew contained the spill with some hi-dri. JC EMA arrived and spill was cleaned up. 20:47 - Co 2, EMS dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Old 22 west of town near Reeder's Electric, for a tree down blocking the roadway. Box 2-01. Engine 22 marked out with 6, Chief 21-2 (Leiter) in the seat. Holding the box to E22 & EMS, the treee was quickly removed and box cleared.

JCCC advised of 1 vehicle off the roadway, over an embankment, into the woods. Engine 12-1 arrived and confirmed 1 pt. out of the vehicle, Chief 11 (Hart) placed R29 avail.

16:45 - Co 3, 2, 20 dispatched to Milford Twp, Rt 333 in Denholm, just west of the Water Authority for a possible wild fire. Box 3-04. Engine 22 marked out with 5, Chief 21 (Zimmerman) in the seat. JCCC advised of a fire in the woods approx 1/2 mile east of the MMA. Brush 36 proceeded to the scene, all units staged on the hard road. Chief 31 (Oberlin) advised a controlled burn, all units avail.

00:38 - Co 2, 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Rt 322 E/B near the access area/boat launch, for a reported MVA. Box 2-07. Rescue 29 marked out with 6, Chief 21-3 (K. Boreman) in the seat. JCCC advised of a single vehicle into the guard rails, with injury. EMS arrived to find 1 vehicle off the roadway, occupant still in the vehicle (-) entrapment. Vehicle was stabilized and de-energized, R29 crew assisted with pt extrication, roadway cleared, box avail.

11:44 - Co 2, 20, Medic 29 sent to Walker Twp, Rt 322 westbound, east of the Port Royal exit for a multiplie vehicle accident with injuries, possible fire. Box 2-08. Engine 22 marked out with 4, Capt 21 (Adair) en route to the scene. JCCC advised of at least 2 vehicles and 1 had fire under it. Medic 29 arrived and advised 1 moderate injury and a few sign offs, fire out.

07/02/09 - Early Morning MVA starts the day
01:48 - Co 3, 2, 20 dispatched to Milford Twp, Rt 333 (Hawstone Rd), for a reported vehicle accident. Box 3-05. Rescue 29 marked out with 6, Chief 21-3 (K. Boreman) on board. JCCC advised of 1 vehicle vs boulder that rolled off the mountain. Just prior to arriving o/s, PSP placed all units avail, no injuries.

07/01/09 - July starts off in Mifflin Boro
08:48 - Co 3, 2, 1, 5, 20 dispatched to Mifflin Boro, 306 Licking Street, for reported smoke in a structure. Box 3-01. Engine 22 marked out with 5, Chief 21-3 (K. Boreman) on board. JCCC advised the homeowner was using her self cleaning oven, now the residence is filled with smoke. E22 arrived on the A/D corner, by the hydrant, with light smoke from the C side door. E22 crew entered and advised smoke conditions on the 1st & 2nd divisions, no fire evident. Truck 27 arrived at the A/B corner and staged. E22 crew set up PPV and cleared the residence, no extension from the stove, box cleared.

19:22 - Co 2, 4, 20, Medic 29 dispatched to walker Twp, Redrock Rd near Hidden Valley Rd, for a reported MVA w/ entrapment. Box 2-06. Rescue 29 marked out with 6, Chief 21-2 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised of a p/u into some trees down an embankment, 1 pt trapped. R29 arrived to confirm dispatch, 1 pt trapped, not breathing. ALS o/s confirming DOA, coroner notified. After the coroner arrived, victim was extricated and box cleared.
