Initial dispatch @ 1156 - Co 7, Co 5, EMS 22 dispatched to Tuscarora Twp to Junk's Saw Mill for a high-life on fire. Units arrived on scene requesting additional engines. Co 2 and Co 3 dispatched for engines. Units were approximately 2/3 way to the scene and were placed available by command on scene.

Initial dispatch @ 0238 - Co 2, EMS 1 dispatched to Tyson Hill near OIP for an MVC unknown injuries. Co 1 dispatched shorly after due to the MVC being in their territory. Co 2 to continue to scene. Co 2 and Co 1 blocked off Rt 75 down between Rt 22 and Chicken Plant Rt. Units arrived on scene with a vehicle into a pole with wires down. Chief 11 requesting fire police to shut down Rt 75 at Old 22. Co 3 dispatched for Traffic 38. Co 2 cleared from box at 0326.

Initial dispatch @ 1345 - Co 2, EMS 1 dispatched to US Hwy 322 E/B west of Thomspontown, mutual aid for Co 8, who was already on scene of a vehicle acciden just up the highway. Units arrived on scene for a minor MVC no injuries. Box was cleared at 1417.

Initial dispatch @ 0657 - Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Chicken Plant Rd near the sharp corner past the chicken plant for an MVC, unknown injuries. Chief 21-3 arrived on scene, on vehicle off the road, took out a speed limit sign, minor or no injuries. Ambulance 20-5-3 arrived on scene, placed Medic 29 available, patient refusal. Chief 21-3 cleared the box at 0720.

Initial dispatch @ 1102 - Co 2 dispatched to US Hwy 322 at Mifflintown Exit for an MVC w/ entrapment. With a limited crew, Rescue 29 responds, arrived on scene, stabilized the vehicle and extricated the patients at 1121 and turned patient care over to EMS on scene. Engine 32-2 went to Mifflintown Airport establishing an LZ for EMS for both patients. 2 persons flown to Hershey Medical Center via Life Lion and 1 patient transported to Mt Nitany Medical Center. Box was cleared at 1234.

Initial dispatch @ 1746 - Co 3 and EMS 20 was initally dispatched for a tractor trailer stuck in a ditch on 333 in Denholem.. While on scene, Co 3 requested Co 2 for airbags. Rescue 29 responded with their equipment. Units were on scene for hours assisting Mayes heavy-wrecker with whatever they needed to get the tractor-trailer out of the ditch. TT was removed from ditch without injury and Rescue 29 was cleared from the box at 2045.

Initial dispatch @ 1425 - Co 3, Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Rt 333 near the county line for a vehicle fire. Engine 32-1, Engine 32-2, Engine 22 (with 6) all responded within first dispatched. Units arrived on scene to find an SUV, fully involved, pulled off the side of the road, all occupants out and safe. Firefighters made quick work of the fire, popped the hood and extinguished the engine compartment. Vehicle was monitored for a few minutes, wet down again and units cleaned up. Engine 22 was released and returned, available, per Engine 32-1. (Video - right click, save as)

Initial dispatch @ 1553 - Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 1 (M/A Medic 29) dispatched to US Hwy 322 in the Narrows for a reported MVC just west of the temporary bridge - with injuries, airbag deployment, multiple cars. Units responded from Juniata County and at 1559, Mifflin County dispatched an Engine and Ambulance to come East Bound down 322 to investigate. Fire police 15 from Mifflin County had 322 East shut down for Mifflin County units. Responding units and PSP found NOTHING both direction and box was placed in service at approx 1615.

Initial dispatch @ 1107 - Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Cedar Spring Rd for a wagon fire. Ambulance 20-5-3 arrived on scene and reported wagon full of straw smoldering. Engine 22 arrived on scene and beging to unload the wagon and douse the fire. Tanker 13 dispatched to the scene for water. Engine 32-2 was dispatched to the scene for manpower. Approx 1.5 hours later the fire was reported under control. After wagon was completely unloaded the farm owner used his skid-loader and spread the straw out and fire dept went available.

Reporting person stated they could see some kind of fire through the trees near the on-ramp US Hwy 322 W/B. Engine 22, Rescue 29, MICU 15-2 arrived on scene with a controlled burn. Box placed available shortly after.

Initial dispatch @ 0039 - Co 3, Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Locust Grove Retirement Village for an Automatic Fire Alarm. Chief 31 arrived on scene, assumed command. Engine 22 arrived reporting normal conditions. Chief 31 had Engine 22 and Engine 32-2 crew investigate the structure. Smoke detector was found to be full of dust from the construction going on in the building, smoke detector was cleaned out, alarm was reset and a through walk-through was conducted again. Box placed available at 0113.

Initial dispatch @ 0819 - Ambulance 85-1 reported a vehicle into the guiderail while return to their station. Co 2, EMS 20 were dispatched for the local alarm MVC. Ambulance 85-1 arrived on the scene and found there to be no injuries. Ambulance 85-1 took care of the patient refusal. Rescue 29 arrived on scene and secured the scene until PSP arrived. Box cleared upon PSP arrival. Box placed in service at 0826.

Initial dispatch @ 1705 - Co 2, 3, 1, 5, EMS 20 dispatched to Janet Rd and Cedar Spring Rd, Premack residence, for smoke in a structure. Chief 21-3 arrived on scene with possible basement fire - heavy smoke from the basement. Units arrived on scene, investigated, finding hot ashes were placed on top of a humidifier and caught fire. Basement was vented without any damage and humidifier was removed from structure. Co 2 was held to the box, all other units were placed in service. Box placed available at 1750.

Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched for a pole fire Monday, July 3, 2006
Initial dispatch @ 1934 - Co 20, EMS 20 dispatched to Cross and Crawford Streets for a pole fire. Capt 21 arrived on scene and reported fire from the top of the pole where fuse had blown. Capt 21 also reported pole number to county. E22 arrived shortly after. Fire extinguished itself and since the pole was not near the roadway, Capt 21 cleared box at 1944.
