-Co 2, 1, EMS 1 dispatched to Industrial Park Rd extended for a field and hay bailer fire. Capt 2 on scene with two separate fires, a hay bailer with a hay bail inside the bailer on fire and a hay bail on fire in a separate field across the road. Engine 2 to come in and hit the fire in the bailer, the engine from Co 1 to handle the bail in the field. Engine 2 arrived on scene, stretched 2 - 1 3/4" handlines and made the attack. Quick knock down of both fires saved personnel from hours of work. Engine 2's crew was unable to get the bail out of the bailer and was later called back to the scene after they removed the bail to re-extinguish the bail. ( Video )

-Co 2 and first alarm units assists Co 3 on a working garage fire in Milford Twp. Chief 3 on scene with a working garage fire. Engine 3-2 to lay 5" supply from the end of the drive to the scene, Truck 2 go past the scene, Engine 2 to pick up 5" and supply Engine 3-2. After a water supply was established, personnel made quick work of the blaze and then extensive overhaul was performed by all units on scene. (Pictures)

-Co 2, Co 1 (Engine/Tanker), EMS 1 dispatched to Frantz Tree Farm for vehicle fire. Units arrived on scene to find a fully involved golf cart. Engine 2's crew pulled the booster line and made quick work of the blazing cart. Engine 1-1 and Tanker 1 staged and the box was placed available within 10 minutes.

-Co 2 dispatched to the Village of Mexico, assisting MICU 1-1 on scene, for lift assist. Rescue 2 responded with 3, plus Chief 2 was en route. Units assisted EMS on scene and went available in approx 10 minutes.

-Co 2, 1 (engine), EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Chicken Plant Rd, entrance to the plant, MVC w/ injuries. Units responded, arrived on scene with two vehicles on the roadway, minor injuries. Medic 29 available. Engine 1 cancelled en route by Engine 2. Units on scene, switching operations to Fire 2.

-Co 2 and EMS 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Cedar Spring Rd for tree down just north of town. Units cleared the roadway and box was cleared just over 10 minutes.

-Engine and Truck 2 dispatched at 0647 to assist Co 4 on a working house fire, second alarm, in the Village of Bunkertown. Truck 2 arrived with smoke showing, fire knocked down by Engine 4's crew. Truck 2's crew of 4 split, 2 two the roof, 2 interior. Holes were cut in the roof and EXTENSIVE overhaul was performed by all companies on scene. One firefighter transported to the hospital BLS from a fall inside the structure, minor injuries, evaluation needed - speedy recovery! Box cleared by Chief 4-3.

-Co 2, Co 1 (Engine), EMS 20 dispatched to Mifflintown Borough, Washington Ave and Jefferson St, MVC. Units arrived on scene with two vehicles, on the roadway, debris down, no injuries. Towing service arrived, removed vehicles and box was cleared by Rescue 29.

-Co 2, 1, 5, 4, EMS 20 dispatched to Old Rt 22, Juniata Trailer Park, for a structure fire, multiple calls. Chief 2 en route, thermal column visible, Engine 2 tag the plug at Juniata Sentinel and lay in. Chief 2 on scene with working fire. Engine 2 laid in, Truck 2 pulled in behind Engine 2 and got as good as a position as they could if they needed to go defensive to protect other structures. Rescue 2 blocked the roadway due to the 5" across Old Rt 22. Chief 2 advising all units to stage on Old Rt 22 and send manpower to Engine 2 with SCBA. Main structure was fully involved upon arrival, neighboring structure caught fire due to large amount of fire from main fire structure. Two surrounding structures sustained external heat damage. One homeowner had 2nd degree burns - 2 dogs, cats and a bird were lost in the fire. Units were mopping up when a second call was dispatched in Mifflin Borough (below). Transfer units from Mifflintown responded (Mifflin County Engine 4-2 and 15-1) responded. Pictures (thanks to Lewistown Sentinel)

-Co 3, 2, 1, 5, 4, EMS 20 dispatched to Tuscarora Street for a structure fire, reported stove fire. Chief 2-3 on scene with PD o/s reporting fire possibly out. MC Engine 15-1 and MC Engine 4-2 on scene very shortly after dispatch, stretching two handlines. Truck 2 came up Tuscarora street the wrong way and took the A side of the structure and went in service to the roof and found light smoke pushing from the roof vent. Personnel inside stated no fire, light smoke condition throughout. A PPV fan was set up at the front door and the windows on the second division were opened. Box was held to Engine 3-2, all other units clear.

-Truck 2 and Engine 2 dispatched to assist Co 8 on a first alarm smoke in a structure. Reported structure filled with smoke. Chief 8-2 on scene reporting fire out, holding the box to Engine 1-1 and Co 8. All other units canceled en route.

-Co 2, EMS 1 dispatched to US Hwy 322 E/B east of Port Royal for an MVC. Portable 22 on scene reporting no injuries, a shook up patient, PSP needed only. No injuries, box cleared by Chief 2-3.
