04/30/09 - Co 2 starts the day with an MCV on US Hwy 322 with nothing found
06:46 - Co 2, Co 1 Engine, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to US Hwy 322 westbound area of the 100MPH hill, reported two vehicles, one down over the embankment. Rescue 29 marked out with 5, Capt 21-3 (J. Boreman) in the seat. Engine 22 with 5, Capt 21 (Adair) at the wheel. Engine 12-1. Reported one vehicle off the roadway, another down over the embankment. Caller did not stop. Engine 12-1 staged at Rt 75 and Old Rt 22. Engine 22 and Rescue 29 proceeded up and down US Hwy 322 from Arch Rock to Mifflintown twice finding tire tracks and debris in the woods but no vehicles. Box cleared.

04/29/09 - Early morning fuel spill starts the day
0516 - Engine 22 was dispatched in place of Engine 82-1, Delaware Twp. Rt 22/322 W/B, west of T-town exit, reported T/T leaking diesel fuel from a saddle tank. Box 8-06. Engine 82-1 responded and placed E22 avail.

07:10 - Co 2, 1, 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Rt 35 near Sheetz, for a reported MVA. Box 2-01. Chief 21 (Zimmerman) to the scene, Rescue 29 marked out w/ 3, Chief 21-3 (K. Boreman) in the seat. JCCC advised a T/T sheered off a pole with wires down and power out in the area. Chief 21 arrived to confirm dispatch. E12-1 shut down traffic at Rt 35 & Butchershop Road, Co 2 shut down traffic at Sheetz. No injury to the T/T driver. Units stayed o/s until PennDOT and PPL arrived, then box cleared.

04/28/09 - 1st alarm units start the afternoon off
15:09 - Co 2, 1, 4, 5, 8, 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Airport Drive near Zeider's Salvage, for a reported structure fire. Box 2-01. JCCC received multiple conflicting calls as to what was burning. Medic 29 on 322 advised of heavy smoke in the area. Engine 22 marked out with 6, Chief 21-3 (K. Boreman) in the seat. E22 arrived to find a tractor trailer well off, and some junk burning, endangering a building. E22 pulled 2 - 200' 1 3/4" lines to knock the fire down. T13 arrived and supplied E22, remaining tankers placed avail. Crews mopped up and remained o/s approx 30 mins, box cleared

22:13 - Co 2, 1, 4, 5, 8, 20 dispatched to Mifflintown Boro, Main Street at the Bousman Building, for a reported AFA. Box 2-01. Chief 21 (Zimmerman) marked o/s with nothing showing, holding Co 2 reduced rate, remainder of the box avail. E22 staged at the hydrant on Lemon & Main, Truck 27 to Side A. Units awaited a keyholder, nothing found. Problem caused by the ongoing phone situation from earlier in the day.

22:36 - While Chief 21 was at the 911 center, they received another alarm on Main Street. Keyholder was still o/s, Chief 21 responded down to find another flase trip. Box cleared at 22:47

04/27/09 - Rescue 29 called to assist Co units
08:29- Co 1, 2 dispatched to Turbett Twp, Rt 333 east of Old Port, for a reported MVA w/ rollover. Box 1-02. Rescue 29 marked out with 5, Chief 21-3 (K. Boreman) in the seat. Chief 11 placed R29 avail before ever leaving the station.

04/26/09 - Engine & Truck assist with a structure fire
18:34 - Multiple Juniata, Perry, Mifflin, and Franklin Co units were sent to Tuscarora Twp, on Creek Rd, for a reported structure fire. Box 7-02. Engine 72 arrived with a working fire that was spreading to the woods. Chief 71 (Baumgardener) made many special calls. Truck 27 marked out with 6, Chief 21-2 (Leiter) in the seat - Engine 22 marked out with 5, Capt 21-3 (J. Boreman) in the seat. Both units arrived and assisted with suppression efforts, the structure was a total loss. Additional units were called in for the woods/forest fire that spread. Units o/s for hours.

While en route to the initial call, JCCC had a report of a wildfire endangering a structure off Rt 75 near Boyer Rd (Turbett Twp). E22 and Perry units were diverted to that. Chief 21 (Zimmerman) arrived to find multiple vehicles on fire, endangering a structure. Units were o/s for approx 20 mins, then back to the intial call.

04/25/09 - 2 Landing Zone calls for the evening
19:23 - Engine 22 summoned to the airport for LZ Operations. EMS 22 & Medic 1 were en route to an ATV accident in Tuscarora Twp. Medic 1 called for the LZ, then due to travel time, LZ location was moved closer to the scene, E22 placed avail. before responding.

21:40 - Engine 22 summoned back to the airport for LZ Ops. Engine 22 marked out w/ 6, Chief 21-2 (Leiter) in the seat. Life Lion 3 with a 12 min ETA. MICU 15-2 was en route from the Port Royal Speedway with a 30's y/o/m that was struck by a sprint car. E22 crew assisted with pt care and transfer to the helicopter. Box cleared.

04/24/09 - The ARBB gets assistance from Engine 22
01:55 - Co 2, 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp. on Arch Rock Rd, past Britcher Drive, for a reported tree down. Box 2-03. Engine 22 marked out w/ 4. JCCC advised of a tree down blocking the entire roadway. Capt 21-2 (Geedy) arrived to confirm dispatch, advised to be in the area of Pine Creek Personal Care. E22 arrived and made short work of the tree. Box cleared.

04/23/09 - Truck responds to a machine on fire at Armstrong
08:48 - Co 8, 6, 2, 4, Perry 7 dispatched to Armstrong Cabinets, 1st Alarm for a machine on fire inside the building. Box 8-01. Truck 27 marked out w/ 6, Chief 21-3 (K. Boreman) in the seat. E82-1 arrived with nothing showing, Perry 7 went to the creek for fill site. Chief 81-2 (Eaton) placed T27 avail, held all other units to the scene.

17:40 - Co 3, 2, 1, 5, 20 dispatched to Milford Twp, Milford St on Dolan Heights, for a reported structure fire. Box 3-01. Engine 22 marked out w/ 6, Chief 21-3 (K.Boreman) in the seat. JCCC advised the caller was on Thomas Street and could see smoke from the eaves. Chief 21 (Zimmerman) arrived and reported nothing showing. Upon further investigation, there was a burning barrel out back pushing smoke over the house, no structure involved, box cleared.

04/17/09 - Engine runs wildfire in 4-04 Box
12:56 - Co 4, 2 dispatched to Fayette Twp, Laurel Run Rd, for a reported wildfire. Box 4-04. Engine 22 marked out w/ 6, Capt 21-3 (J. Boreman) in the seat. E22 arrived just behind B46, and all manpower was sent in to assist the brush truck. Fire was contained within 20 mins, E22 was placed avail.

04/14/09 - Pick up into a structure
17:19- Co 1, Co 2 dispatched to Port Royal Boro, intersection of Rt 333 & Court Lane, for a reported MVA. Box 1-01. Rescue 29 marked out with 7, Chief 21-2 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised of 1 pick up into a structure, unknown conditions. Chief 11 (Hart) arrived at confirmed dispatch - house trailer knocked off its foundation, 1 minor injury to the occupant of the trailer (pick up was unoccupied), cancelling R29 & T13 prior to arrival of each.

14:39 - Co 8, Co 2 dispatched to Walker Twp, Rt 333 in the village of Van Dyke, local alarm for chimney fire. Box 8-03. Truck 27 marked out with 6, Chief 21-2 (Leiter) in the seat. Caller reported just west of the fish hatchery. Units o/s approx 25 mins

04/10/09 - Good Friday starts early for the 2 House
07:22 - Co's 2, 1, 8, 6, 4 dispatched to Walker Twp, Old Rt 22 near Frymoyer's Garage, for a reported structure fire. Box 2-04. Engine 22 marked out with 5, Chief 21-3 (K. Boreman) in the seat. JCCC advised the caller was on Wagner Rd and could see something on fire behind Frymoyer's. E22 had a thermal column from Mexico. MICU 15-1 o/s reporting poss controlled burn. E22 arriving, large controlled burn confirmed, box and all units placed avail.

04/06/09 - Rescue summoned to Lack Twp
12:27 - Co 7, Co 2, EMS 22 dispatched to Lack Twp on Pumping Station Rd, for a reported vehicle accident. Box 7-01. Rescue 29 marked out with 7, Chief 21 (Zimmerman) in the seat. JCCC advised of a single vehicle into a pole, wires down. Capt 71 (Boone) arrived and advised the occupants fled the scene, placing R29 avail.

04/05/09 - Locust Grove Cottage
07:25 - EMS 20, Co 2 disatched to Milford Twp, Locust Grove Cottage #23, for unknown conditions. Rescue 29 marked out with 6, Chief 21-2 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised the Village had received numerous calls from that cottage, R29 added for poss forcible entry. Capt 21-3 (J. Boreman) arrived, they had made entry, no one was home. Box cleared.

04/04/09 - Early morning crash starts the day
01:15 - Co 7, Co 1, Co 2, EMS 22 dispatched to East Waterford carnival grounds, for a reported MVA. Box 7-01. Capt 71 (Boone) arrived to find a vehicle into a pole, wires down, no one around the vehicle. Co1 and Co2 placed avail before responding.

07:21- Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, behind the Pine Grove Church, Local alarm for wires down. Box 2-05. Engine 22 marked out with 4, Chief 21-2 (Leiter) in the seat. E22 arrived to find a telephone line down, across the roadway. Crew removed the line, box cleared.

13:52 - Co 4, Co 2 dispatched to Fayette Twp, Rt 35 near the golf course for an unknown type fire. Box 4-04. Engine 22 marked out with 6, Chief 21-2 (Leiter) in the seat. Prior to arriving o/s, Chief 41 (Varner) advised of a controlled burn (farmer burning pallets in a field) Box cleared.

04/03/09 - Co 2 summoned to Pinehurst Apartments for EMS Lift Assist
08:00 - Co 2 dispatched to Old Rt 22 at Pinehurst Aparatments to assist EMS with lifting. Rescue 29 marked out with 3, Chief 21-2 (Leiter) and Chief 21-3 (K. Boreman) at the helm. Capt 21-3 (J. Boreman) en route the scene. Assisted EMS with lifting Pt and getting him into the ambulance. Rescue 29 cleared.
