-Co 2, Co 1 (inplace of Co 2), EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Cedar Spring and Industrial Pk Rd for MVC. Co 2 responded from above first call to second call. Reported two vehicles, with fire. Rescue and Engine 2 arriving on scene with one vehicle, off the roadway, severe rear-end damage, fully-involved. Personnel made quick work of the fire. No injuries. -Co 2 dispatched to Old Rt 22 assisting EMS 1 with lifting. Rescue 2 responded with 4 personnel. Assisted EMS 1 with lifting a Pt with respiratory problems from second story of residence to ambulance. Box cleared.


04/28/08
-Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Cedar Spring Rd and Nelson Rd for an MVC, no injuries. Rescue 2 arrived on scene with one vehicle partially on the roadway. Front passenger tire fell off the vehicle and rolled into the middle of the field. Cheif 2 holding Engine 2 and EMS in quarters. PSP and roll-back arrived shortly after. Vehicle was loaded on roll-back and box was cleared by Chief 2.

-Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to US Hwy 322 W/B near the entrance to the narrows. Capt 2-2 on scene with one vehicle, fluids and debris down, minor injuries. Single patient transported to the hospital, BLS.

04/26/08
-Rescue 2 assisted Co 8 in Walker Twp, Old Rt 22, for an MVC with pin. Rescue 2 arrived on scene, assisted Co 8 with manpower and extra tools. Pt was extricated with head and extremity injuries. Helicopter to LZ to fly patient per EMS. Pt extricated in approx 8 minutes. Rescue 2 cleared. Picture1 Picture2 Picture3

04/22/08
-Co 2, 3, 1, 5, EMS 20 dispatched to Mowrey Street in Mifflin for a structure fire. Kitchen fire. Chief 3-3 on scene with smoke showing. Engine 2 arrived on scene with light smoke showing from rear of the structure. Fire was almost out when personnel reached fire with charge 1-3/4" 200' preconnect. Box was held to Co 2 and 3 and EMS 20. Crews checked for extension, fire contained to corner of kitchen. Box cleared by Chief 3-3.

-Rescue 2 dispatched to Milford Twp assisting EMS on a fall patient in the woods, stokes basket needed. EMS on scene with a patient down an embankment with lacerations and a leg injury.

-Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Bridge Street for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle. Reported 11 year old male struck by one vehicle, went airborne and was struck by a second vehicle and is now laying on the road. Rescue 2 and EMS on scene packing Pt. Chief 2-2 requesting Engine 2 to the airport for LZ ops.

-Engine 2 dispatched to Mifflintown Airport for Landing Zone Operations for struck pedestrian. Life Flight 2 en route with 10 minute ETA. EMS en route to LZ. Patient being flown to Geisinger Medical Center.

04/15/08
-Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to US Hwy 322 W/B west of Arch Rock for an MVC. Reported Tractor-trailer vs. passenger vehicle. Units arrived on scene with both vehicles on the berms of the road, debris and fluids down. Units on scene for approx 45 minutes. No injuries. PSP, PennDOT and DOT vehicles remaining on scene due to the fluids down from the TT. Box cleared.

-Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Old Rt 22 and Crawford Drive for an MVC, no injuries. Capt 2 on scene requesting FD non-emergency and to advise EMS patient refusals. Rescue 2 arrived on scene to find two vehicle crash. Jeep ran into the back of a car trailer and got stuck on the wheel well of the trailer and was unable to back off it. After vehicle was cribbed high enough and towing service did some fancy work, the Jeep came off the trailer without problem. Box cleared. Picture1 Picture2 Picture3

04/13/08
-Co 2 responds to Locust Grove Retirement Village for a Taskforce Assigned, reported working fire. Engine 2 arrived on scene with normal exterior conditions. When making entrance into the 400 Hall of the structure, firefighters were met with heavy smoke. An 1-3/4" handline was stretched and high-rise pack was taken for extra hose. Firefighters found the location of the fire to be in the ventilation system. Appearing to be a birds nest on fire. Fire was extinguished, building vented, extension checked and box cleared within 30 minutes.

-Co 2, 1, EMS 20 dispatched to US Hwy 322 W/B area of Arch Rock for a grass fire.EMS on scene with a small grass fire. Engine 2 arrived on scene and Capt 2 held the box to Co 2, all others available. Box cleared shortly after.

-Co 2, 1, EMS 20 dispatched to Industrial Pk Rd for a working vehicle fire. Reported fully involved vehicle. Bystanders made a hit with a dry-chemical fire extinguisher while fire was in the engine compartment and extinguished the fire. Engine 2 arrived, investigated, finding no fire, placed Co 1 available.
