-E22 dispatched to Fayette Twp, Rt 35 near Brown's church for MVC. Cancelled before response.

-Co 2, EMS 1 dispatched to US Hwy 322 near Treens for MVC, into a field, unknown injuries. FP 1 o/s reporting vehicle into a field E/B 322 checking on injuries. Units on scene, on vehicle into the field. Vehicle was traveling W/B, crossed the median, crossed E/B, through a fence and ended up 300 yards into a field.1 Pt. Brush burn to the face. Airbags deployed but vehicle did start back up.Units cleared 2113. Units: E22, R29, MICU 15-3, PSP.

-Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Cedar Springs and Industrial Pk Rd. 2 car MVC, no injuries.
Units arrived on scene to find two vehicles, on the roadway. All occupants out of the vehicles. Units on scene approx 45 minutes. Units: E22, R29, A205-2, Medic 29 (Cancelled).

-Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Old Rt 22 @ Neys Bowling Alley @ 1026.
Reported 2 vehicles in the Ney's parking lot, 1 injury. R29 arrived to find a T-bone accident that originated on Old Rt 22, and carried into the Ney's parking lot. 2 vehicles - Pick-up vs pass car- occupant of the car still inside. P/U t-boned the car, sending it into the concrete/brick sign, 1 male occupant pinned. R29 crew cribbed the vehicle and deployed the HURST tools, E22 stretched 150' 1 3/4" line. Pt extricated onto LSB, EMS transported to Lewistown Hospital. Extrication time: 8 minutes. Units: E22, R29, A205-2, A205-3, Medic 29.


04/26/07
-Co 2, 3, 1, 4, 5, EMS 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Keystone Stihl Building for smoke in the buidling. Reported smoke on top floor, Chief 21-3 o/s with smoke from the roof. E 22 to side A, E 12-1 to hydrant by Dumor, Truck 1-1 to Side A and go in service to roof, all other units stage on Industrial Drive. E 22 interior crew made the top floor and had heavy smoke condition, vertical ventilation was done opening the skylite. Truck 1-1 to the roof to check any extension. The furnace unit on the top floor had fire from it, heavy smoke. Power and the fuel were shut off, fire burnt out, building was ventilated. Box cleared in approx 1 1/2 hours.

04/25/07
-R29 requested by EMS 20 for lifting assistance on Horningtown Road. Large male fell out of bed, no injuried. Crew assisted Pt back into bed and box was cleared within minutes. Units: R29.

-T27 dispatched to Lewistown Borough for chimney fire. Cancelled by Mifflin County before response.


04/24/07
-Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Industrial Park Rd for MVC.
Reported one vehicle into a tree. Amb 20-5-2 o/s with all occupants out of the vehicle. Medic 29 placed available. Fire apparatus to reduce their rate. Units: E22, Amb 20-5-2, Medic 29 (cancelled).

-Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Rt 35 and 8th St for MVC. Reported two vehicles, rear-end collision. Lt 21 o/s with minor/no injuries. A205-2 o/s placing Medic 29 available. Units o/s approx 30 min.. Units: E22, R29, A205-2, A205-3, Medic 29 (cancelled).


04/22/07
-1st alarm hay bails endanger a structure is dispatched approx 1130. Co 2, 1, 4, 3 (Engine), 6 (Tanker), EMS 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Cuba Mills Rd. Reported hay bails on fire endangering a structure. Reported by MICU 15-3. Bails were moved away from the structure. Engine 42 stretched a handline with Tanker 13 supplying water. A skid-loader flattened out the bails and all hotspots were extinguished. Units working for approx 45 minutes. Units: E42, Tanker 13, MICU 15-3.

-Co 3, 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Rt 35 South of Locust Grove Retirement Village for tree down. Engine 22 o/s with PennDOT. PennDOT closing road and handling the tree. Engine 22 available, command turned over to Capt 31. Units o/s for approx 45 minutes. Units: E22, Traffic 38, A205-2.

-Co 2 and EMS 20 dispatched to Jericho Rd for a reported pole fire. E22 and A205-2 o/s, fire out. E22 placing A205-2 available. E22 reporting pole number and reporting a new pole will be needed, top part of pole burnt through. Units: E22, A205-2.

-E22 establishes an LZ for Life Flight per EMS Co 20 for a male Pt with finger amputations.

-Co 2 and surrounding companies perform 2007 Prom Promise - Mock DUI crash for Juniata High School. Pictures to come as soon as we can sort them all out. There is also two videos. (Please be patient).

-E22 assists Co 4 on wires down, reported with fire. Cancelled en route. E22 w/ 6.

-Co 2, EMS 20, Horningtown Rd, tree down across the roadway. Rescue 29 and Ambulance 20-5-2 respond. Units arrived on scene. Rescue 29 cleared the road and box was placed available.


04/15/07
-Co 2, EMS 1, MVC US Hwy 322 W/B east of Port Royal, reported one vehicle, roll-over the embankment. Second call back states one person still inside. Chief 21 o/s w/ PSP o/s, all occupants out of the vehicle, no injuries. Chief 21 placing box available, all units available. E22, R29, A15-1, PSP.


04/14/07
-Co 2 responds, assisting Co 3, on a structure fire on Main Street, Mifflin Borough, above the Post Office. Reports of building full of smoke and smell of wood burning. Inital dispatch was co 3, 2, 1, 5, EMS 20. E22 only unit o/s, replacing the box. Co 4, 6, 8 dispatched for replacement. Found a water spicket broke shooting water into an overhead vanity light, shorting it out. Vanity light fell into the sink and extinguished the fire. FF Alex Stottle shut off the water and vented the building. LT 21 placed the box available. Chief 31-3 then came on the air stating E32-2 was remaining o/s.

04/13/07
-Taskforce assignment at Empire Kosher Poultry dispatched at 2251. Reported fire in the shipping area. Units arrived on scene to find smoke in receiving dock. Personnel was directed to rear receiving room to find electrical fire. A dry chemical extinguisher was used to extinguish the flame until maintenance could find the power source and shut down the power. After electricity was shut off, units checked for extension and box was placed in service. Controlled marked at 2319. Box cleared at 2327.

04/11/07
-Co 2 responds to T/T fire on US Hwy 322 in the narrows approx 1 mile from Lewistown Exit. Co 2 units respond shutting down traffic W/B at Juniata County side of narrows. EMS 20 placed in service, Mifflin EMS 12 handling patient. Traffic 38 and PennDOT redirecting traffic to Rt 333.

-Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 respond to MVC on Rt 35 near 1st baptist church. Poles down. Chief 21 o/s reporting multiple poles down, vehicle down over the embankment, patient still in the vehicle. EMS requesting helicopter then placing helicopter available and requesting the coroner. E22, R29, A205-2, M29.


04/04/07
-Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to US Hwy 322 for T/T roll-over, unknown injuries. Reports of one T/T roll-over, unknown what it is hauling. Units arrive to find one T/T rolled over, tractor part hauling powered concrete. US Hwy 322 shut down both directions by both Mifflin and Juniata County units. PennDOT shut down the highway and redirected traffic up Rt 333. Traffic was shutdown for over 18 hours.


04/02/07
Initial dispatch @ 1350 - 2 alarm fire at Keystone Koating in Juniata County Industrial Park keeps units busy for hours. Co 2, 3, 1, 4, 5, EMS 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Industrial Park Commons, Keystone Koating Inc. Engine 22 w/ 3, on scene with normal exterior conditions. Upon entering the structure, E22's crew was met with fire, stretcher a 200' 1 3/4" handline. Box upgraded to 2nd alarm. Fire coming from the ventilation filter unit. Unit made access to the filter unit, after a long access time, finally removed the filters and extinguished the blaze. Building full of smoke, PPV fans were set up to clear out building. Personnel extingushed the fire and examined the building for extentions, which there was none. After fire reported under control, Command 2 holding box to Co 2 and Co 2 and EMS 20. Box cleared approx 3 hours after dispatch.

-While units were busy on the building fire, Co 2's transfers (Mifflin County Engine 4-1 and Rescue 15-1) responded to a two vehicle MVC on Old Rt 22 area of The Little Store. Rescue 15-1 o/s w/ cmd, reporting two vehicles, three injuries. Box cleared shortly after patients were transport to the hospital.

-Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Rt 35 area of Happy Hollow Rd for an MVC. Medic 29 first o/s with one vehicle, off the roadway, no obvious fluids down. Units arrived on scene, assisted EMS with loading patient. Patient transported BLS to Lewistown Hospital, Medic 29 available. Chief 21 cleared the box shortly after patient transport. Engine 22, Rescue 29, Amb 20-5-2, Medic 29.
