03/30/10 - Power lines down
13:42 - Co 2, EMS 1 dispatched to Walker Twp, area of 602 Smith Road, for reported power wires down. Box 2-02. Engine 22 marked out with 2, Capt 21-3 (Stottle) to the scene. JCCC advised of power lines down, blocking the road, power was out in the area. PPL was notified. Shortly after arriving o/s, Command advised PPL was arriving. After securing the area for a short time, box was cleared.

03/27/10 - Structure fire starts the day
08:24 - Co 5, 1, 7, 2, 3, 4 dispatched to Beale Twp. 4777 McCoysville Road, 1st alarm for structure fire. Box 5-02. Truck 27 marked out with 6, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised the caller reported his chimney on fire, when he went to check on it, he had fire from the eaves and under the roof. Engine 52 o/s with smoke showing. E52 crew stretched a 1 3/4" line and found heavy fire in the ceiling above the wood stove, and down the hallway into the common living space. E52 crew had a good hit on the fire, while Truck crew laddered the building and completed ventilation procedures. Crews pulled ceiling and done overhaul. Control marked at 0857.

12:55 - Co 2 was dispatched to assist EMS 4/Medic 29 with LZ Ops at the airport. Engine 22 marked out with 6, Capt 21-2 (Groninger) in the seat. Upon responding, JCCC advised of a 15 min ETA. Life Lion arrived and crew assisted with patient package and carrying to the chopper. Pt loaded, box cleared.

03/25/10 - Rescue run into Turbett Twp
16:51 - Co 1, 2 dispatched to Turbett Twp. area of 18 Walls Hill Road, for a reported MVA with injury.. Box 1-02. Rescue 29 marked out with 6, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised of 2 vehicles, 1 injury. Safety 11-1 (Heckert) o/s with patients out of the vehicle. Chief 11 (Hart) placed Rescue 29 avail.

03/23/10 - Engine requested to assist PD
1310 - Engine 22 called to Mifflintown Boro. Main St & Bridge St at the redlight, for a washdown. Engine 22 marked out and was advised that PD was o/s with some spilled concrete. E22 arrived with a small spill, it was handled without incident.
03/20/10 - Mifflin County with another burner
19:46 - Engine 22 requested to transfer to Mifflin Co Station 11. Mifflin Co units were on a multi-building fire in Derry Twp - up 522 at the McNair residence. E22 marked out with 6, Capt 21 (Henry) in the seat. E22 returned after approx 3hrs
03/19/10 - Units head to Mifflin County for working fire
16:52 - Truck 27 requested to transfer to Mifflin Co Station 13. Units were working a fire on 100 N. Walnut Street in the boro. Truck 27 marked out with 5, Capt 21-3 (Stottle) in the seat. Shortly after arriving, T27 was requested to the scene and went to work on the A/D corner. Tower went in service and pounded the fire from above.
17:17 - Engine 22 requested to transfer to Mifflin Co Station 1 while they were too at the Walnut Street fire. Engine 22 marked out with 3, Chief 21-2 (Boreman) in the seat. E22 stood by for hours, not turning a wheel, but did some work around the 1 House 03/16/10 - Wildfire and Haz-Mat calls reported
15:43 - Co 3, 2, 20, MC15 dispatched to Milford Twp. Rt 333 west near the Mifflin County line, for a reported wildfire. Box 3-03. Engine 22 marked out with 4, Chief 21 (Leiter) on board. JCCC advised the caller was in the narrows and could see a fire burning near the RR tracks. Units proceeded to the county line and found nothing. Box cleared.

19:36 - Co 3, 2, 1, 5, 20 dispatched to Mifflin Boro, near the train station, for a Haz-Mat leak. 1st alarm in Box 3-01. Chief 21 (Leiter) marked on the air right away, JCCC advised of a white substance flowing out of 3 tanker cars. After further investigation, the tankers were hauling Class A foam for grinding, no haz-mat and the box was cleared with all units staging. 03/11/10 - MVA on the highway
19:52 - Co 2, 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, Rt 322 near the Arch Rock exit, for a reported MVA. Box 2-07. Rescue 29 marked out with 4. Units arrived to find 1 vehicle into a sign into the bank, no injuries. Units remained o/s until PSP arrived, box cleared

03/10/10 - Engine handles small brush fire
15:34 - Co 2, 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp. South 7th Street near the elementary school, local alarm for brush fire. Box 2-01. Engine 22 marked out with 4, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. PD was o/s of a small fire in the woods. E22 arrived and deployed the booster line, made short work of the fire.

03/09/10 - MVA in the 3-02 Box
14:02 - Co 3, 2, 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Milford Twp, intersection of Rt 35 & Locust Grove Rd, for a reported MVA with entrapment. Box 3-02. Rescue 29 marked out with 6, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised of pick-up vs van with 1 person pinned. Medic 29 o/s reporting (-) pin. R29 arrived, crew split to de-energize and fluid containment. 1 male and 1 K-9 transported, Co2 available.

03/04/10 - Chimney fire in the 8-01
05:40 - Co 8, 6, 2 dispatched to Thompsontown Boro, 422 W. Main Street, for a reported chimney fire. Local alarm Box 8-01. Truck 27 marked out with Capt 21 (Henry) in the seat. JCCC advised the caller reported flames from the chimney, 2nd call fire poss out. E82-1 o/s, Chief 81-2 (Shearer) in command, having all units proceed in under caution. Units o/s approx 45mins.

03/03/10 - Truck vs Pole
22:23 - Co 2, EMS 1 dispatched to Walker Twp. William Penn Hwy & Rt 75, at Shoffstal's Intersection for a reported MVA. Box 2-02. Rescue 29 marked out with 5, Capt 21 (Henry) in the seat. JCCC advised of 1 truck vs pole, 1 occupant confined, semi-conscious. Chief 21-2 (Boreman) arrived o/s and reported truck vs pole, occupant out of the vehicle and to advise PSP the operator appeared intoxicted. EMS checked out the patient, who was not injured, then released to PSP custody. Units remained o/s until roadway was cleared.

03/02/10 - AED call to start the day
00:25 - Co 2, EMS 20, Medic 29 dispatched to Milford Twp, Rt 333 west of Mifflin, in Denholm, for a cardiac arrest. Rescue 29 marked out with 4, Capt 21 (Henry) in the seat. FF o/s with a 50 y/o/f, cardiac arrest, (-) shock. R29 assisted EMS with package and extrication. Box clear.

19:44 - Rescue 29 was dispatched with Co 5 and EMS 22 units, Tuscarora Twp, 325 Rich's Lane for a fall victim. Box 5-03. Rescue 29 marked out with 4, Chief 21 (Leiter) in the seat. JCCC advised of a male in his 50's fell off a feed bin over 20' and landed in some water, unknown conditions. EMS 22 o/s placing FD available.

20:14 - Engine 22 was dispatched to the Mifflintown Airport to establish a landing zone for Amb 22-5-1. Engine 22 marked out with 4, Capt 21-2 (Groninger) in the seat. After staging, air medical aborted the flight due to weather. E22 avail.
