-Truck 2 requested by Chief 1 to Port Royal Borough for a Chimney Fire. Truck 2 responded with 6. Arrived on scene and assist Co 1 with chimney cleaning.


01/26/08
-Co 2 and EMS 20 dispatched to Fermanagh Twp, US Hwy 322 in the Narrows for a vehicle fire. Reported tractor trailer with brakes on fire. Fire out upon arrival.

-Co 2 and 1st alarm units dispatched to the Village of Mexico for a structure fire. Reported garage fire. Chief 8-2 arrived on scene reporting well involved structure. Units arrived on scene and pulled handlines to extinguish the blaze. Engine 1-2 established a fill-site for tankers at Walker Access area. Fire extinguished and extensive overhaul was done to clear out any hot spots. Units on scene approx 2 hours. Units: Engines: 2, 1-1, 1-2, 8-1, Trucks: 2, Rescues: 2, Tankers: 1, 8, 6-1, 6-2, Brush: 1, Utility: 4, EMS: MICU 1-3, Amb 1-1 (replaced 1-3 due to MICU call).

-Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Cedar Acres Apartments for an electrical box malfunction. Reported electrical box was very warm. Units on scene for approx 20 minutes. Units: Engine 2, EMS 20

-Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Brubaker Lane off Butchershop Rd for chimney fire just after initial dispatch of the above call. Truck 2 responded w/ 4, arrived on scene with light smoke. Engine 1-1 was dispatched in place of Engine 2 which was currently responding to the electrical box call. Units arrived on scene, entered the structure to assess while a crew for Truck 2 prepared to go to the roof. After assessing the chimney from the roof and interior, chimney chains were dropped and chimney was cleaned. Units on scene for approx 1.5 hours. Units: Engine 1-1, Engine 2 (after clearing first call), Truck 2, Rescue 2, EMS 20

-Co 2 assist Co 8 on a working structure fire at Armstrong Cabinets. Units were dispatched to a Taskforce Assignment, Box 8-01 for a working structure fire. Chief 8 on scene confirming working fire. Units arrived on scene and Truck 2 requested two additional trucks to the scene when they were over 5+ miles away because they could see the fire. Aeiral masterstreams were put into work and extensive overhaul was done. -Rescue 2 dispatched to Fayette Twp, Leonard Hill Rd for an MVC w/ entrapment. Chief 4 on scene reporting all Pt's out of the vehicle. Cancelled en route.

-Rescue 2 dispatched to Milford Twp, new Video Alley for MVC w/ entrapment. Reported one vehicle, upside down, unable to see in the vehicle, assuming entrapment. Chief 5-2 arrived on scene reporting pole down, no one in the vehicle. Caller stated she could hear people yelling for help but was unable to see into vehicle. Chief 3 cancelled Rescue 2 en route.


01/14/08
-Rescue 2 assists Co 3 and EMS in Milford Twp, on Licking Creek Rd for a logging accident. Third party call reporting single person involved in logging accident, Pt not breathing, possibily in cardiac arrest. Units arrived on scene advising trauma code. Shortly after coroner called to scene. Difficult access to Pt. Units on scene approx 4 hours. Units: Engine 3-1, Brush 3, Rescue 2, Amb 20-3, Medic 29


01/12/07
-Engine 2 establishes a landing zone at Mifflintown Airport for EMS 1 for an overdose patient.

-Co 2, EMS 1 dispatched to Walker Twp, Smith Rd, for a vehicle accident. No injuries. Units arrived on scene to find a single vehicle into a utility pole, occupant out of the vehicle, minor vehicle damange, undriveable. Rescue 2's crew disconnected the battery terminals and cleaned up any debris. PSP arrived and placed fire apparatus available. EMS available, no patient transported. Units: Engine 2, Rescue 2, MICU 1-3.


01/11/08
-Truck 2 dispatched to the Borough of Port Royal to assist Co 1 with ventilation. Truck 2 responded with 5. Arrived on scene and assisted Engine 1-2 with ventilation of a structure. Found pestisides from the 1940s had been spilled a day prior and had released toxic fumes. Units on scene approx 1 hour. Units: Engine 1-2, Truck 2 w/5


01/10/08
-Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Bridge Street at the Post Office for flooding. Found a toilet above the post office to have over flowed causing a large mess and lots of water. Box cleared in approx 30 minutes. Units: Engine 2, Truck 2, Amb 20-3

-Rescue 2 responds, assisting EMS with lifting, in Manbeck Heights. Assisting Amb 20-3.

-Truck 2 w/ 6 dispatched to Pine Maple Street, Fayette Twp, for structure fire. Cancelled en route by Chief 4-3 who held the box to Co 4 and EMS 4.

-Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Mountain View Trailer Court for smoke in a structure. Units arrived on scene to find smoke in the area and found an overloaded furance. Residence was vented and Chief 2 cleared the box. Units: Engine 2 w/ 4, Amb 20-3

-Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to The Square in Mifflintown Borough for an MVC, minor injuries. Units arrived on scene with two vehicles, fluids down, minor injuries, possible refusals. Units: Rescue 2, Amb 20-3

-Co 2, 1 (Tanker), EMS 20 dispatched to US Hwy 322 W/B at 100MPH hill for vehicle fire. EMS on scene with no fire. Capt 2-2 on scene having Engine 2 continue in reduced rate, all others placed in service. Units: Engine 2, Rescue 2, Tanker 1, Amb 20-1

-Co 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Cedar Spring Rd and Ginger Lane for an MVC. Chief 2 arriving on scene reporting no injuries. Units to arrive on scene and do traffic control. Rescue 2 to light up the scene. EMS available with no Pt. Units: Engine 2, Rescue 2, Amb 20-3


01/01/08
-Co 1, 2, EMS 20 dispatched to Airport Hill Rd for a chimney fire. Reported chimney fire, possible extension, smoke pushing out from around the chimney. Units arrived on scene with heavy smoke from the chimney. Truck 2's crew split, two proceeded inside with tools and a TIC and two went to the roof via the tower. Bucket crew reporting heavy fire in the chimney. As Engine 2 and Rescue 2's crew arrived, they assisted the interior truck crew in emptying out the stoves. After the stoves were empty, the bucket crew lowered the chimney chains and cleaned out the chimney. Box cleared. Units: Engine 2, Engine 1-1, Truck 2, Rescue 2, Amb 20-3.
